Credentials:
Katy Church is a 2002 graduate of Cedarville University with a degree in music, keyboard pedagogy emphasis.  She studied piano for over 17 years under the instruction of Mrs. Connie Anderson and Dr. Charles Clevenger.  As a student she was involved in the National Guild of Piano Teachers' Auditions for 12 years and the National Federation of Music Teachers program for 11 years.  Mrs. Church has performed in several recitals, including completing her Senior Recital as the capstone for her pedagogy degree.

Involvement/Membership
Mrs. Church is a member of the National Federation of Piano Teachers, where she is currently the chairman of Ohio District III-C.  She is also involved in the Beavercreek Piano Teachers' Association, and the Fortnightly Musical Club.  She has experience in church music and recitals and currently performs weekly at the Dorothy Lane Market in Springboro.

Student Opportunities:
Weekly 30 or 45 minute lessons for beginner-advanced levels of all ages are provided.  Students also perform in a Christmas recital and an annual recital at the end of the school year, as well as the opportunity to take part in the National Federation of Music Clubs-Junior Music Festival.

Methods:
Beginners start in the Faber/Faber Piano Adventures Series as well as supplemental music.
